About the Role
- Lead and manage all non-production plant operations, including HR, Industrial Relations, Administration, Compliance, Security, and Supply Chain coordination.
- Oversee employee relations, contract labour management, statutory compliance, and coordination with corporate HR to ensure smooth workforce operations.
- Manage plant administration, facilities, vendor services, infrastructure, and interactions with local government authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Drive quality systems, EHS compliance, audits, corrective actions, and ensure all documentation remains audit-ready.
- Coordinate logistics, inventory practices, procurement support, and supply chain activities to ensure seamless plant operations.
- Oversee plant security, loss prevention measures, access control systems, and compliance with security protocols.
- Partner with the Plant Head and leadership team to support budgeting, MIS reporting, stakeholder management, and overall operational excellence.
About You
Skills & Experience Required:
- MBA / PGDM in HR, Operations, or General Management from a reputed institution.
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Engineering or Sciences is preferred.
- 12–18 years of total experience, including 6–8 years in plant or factory operations with cross-functional responsibilities.
- Strong experience in industrial relations, contract labour management, statutory compliance, and plant administration.
- Exposure to quality audits, EHS management, supply chain coordination, and logistics operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in Hindi and English.
Preferred Background
- Experience in Industrial Equipment, Machinery, Industrial Automation, Electrical Equipment, Electronics Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Processing, Medical Devices, or Pharmaceutical industries.
- Prior experience working in manufacturing facilities across Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, or Uttarakhand is preferred.
- Comfortable working in a Tier-2 manufacturing location and managing multiple functions simultaneously.
Location Preference
- Candidates based in Himachal or Punjab regions; Baddi, Parwanoo, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, Ambala, Ropar or willing to relocate to Nalagarh.
